Drop Refund Policies

Look to the organization you registered with to find their Drop Refund Policies.  You will have to submit any drop or refund requests with that organization.

In all cases, refunds must be requested before the end of the 2nd week of class, for self paced courses, or the end of the 2nd module, whichever comes first.

The amount and timing for the refund will depend on the policy of the organization you registered with.  Examples of the various drop policies are as follows:

SDSU:  Visit http://www.ces.sdsu.edu/creditnocredit.html You will find the Drop/Refund policy about 2/3 of the way down the page.

ASPE:  visit http://www.aspenational.org . At the bottom of their course descriptions they have the following text:

ASPE WITHDRAWAL POLICY: You may withdraw from a course by sending an email to tina@aspeNational.org.  Non-attendance or notifying the instructor does not constitute officially dropping or withdrawing from a course. Students who stop attending courses without officially dropping will receive a grade of U (unauthorized withdrawal) in the class. Refunds are not automatic. NO refunds are due unless the course is officially dropped within stated guidelines in the refund schedule. Please type your name in the text box agreeing to the withdrawal policy.
