They required careful review of the plans and critical thinking of everything impacted by the change. I thought they were great, albeit time consuming."

I learn by doing and practicing material and the self tests allowed me to try and figure out the questions but still have help from the solutions when I got stuck. The zoom recording were also helpful to piece together the material from the book."

"The most interesting thing was learning about the names of each piece of equipment and how much work goes into estimating time of use and productivity of each piece of equipment. This was also most relevant, cause now i can get a better idea of how to estimate time for job sites and equipment needed. I felt good about my learning objectives being met. I liked the simple lectures and tools to get through the course work. I actually really enjoyed the homework. i felt like it was challenging, but had enough help where i wasn't totally lost. Unfortunately i usually started at the end of the week when all of the homework hints were out, but it was easier i think because of it. I really enjoyed the insight by the professor and you could tell he really knows his stuff."

Before it would take me a while to understand how to read it, but I'll definitely be finding more use out of that and understanding some of our subcontractor's scope of work when doing excavation, backfilling & trenching, etc. "
