About Our Construction Blueprint Reading Class
103 Construction Blueprint Reading is designed to help students develop an elementary knowledge of blueprint reading as it relates to building construction projects. It will provide you with an understanding of the design process and the role of design professionals. You will learn how to find trade information using blueprints, understand basic problems or shortcomings of the blueprints you are using, be able to identify construction questions related to layout and installation of materials at the job site, and be able to answer these questions on your own through independent reading and learning.
This online blueprint reading course will build your foundational knowledge of blueprint reading. Students learn about the different types of blueprints, who produces them and where you can find them. Students use this knowledge to answer basic construction questions related to the layout and installation of materials at the jobsite. By the end of this course, you will have a solid foundation in blueprint reading skills and will be able to confidently apply that knowledge in practical situations on your next project!
